Kunsthandel Pygmalion, Maarssen

Kunsthandel Pygmalion was founded in 1997 by the art historian Jaap Versteegh and his wife Joke van Veen. The business is located in a canal house on the river Vecht in Maarssen.
The collection consists of paintings, sculptures, drawings and graphics from the period 1850-1950.
Kunsthandel Pygmalion regularly lends out works of art for museum exhibitions.
Jaap Versteegh also creates various exhibitions as guest curator for several museums (including Museum Flehite, Kunsthal Rotterdam, Museum Catharijneconvent, Stadsmuseum Woerden, Dordrechts Museum).
