Slewe Gallery was founded in 1994 by Martita Slewe and is located in the center of Amsterdam. The gallery is one of the leading contemporary art galleries in the Netherlands.

The exhibition policy is focused on contemporary art, mostly abstract painting. A reflective attitude towards the art and attention to the sensual aspect of the material form a connecting factor.

Several Dutch and foreign artists have been associated with the gallery since its founding and are now established, with works in various museums as well as large private and corporate collections.

The gallery produces an average of 7 solo exhibitions per year and regularly participates in various international fairs.
